Goodreads summary:

"Poppy Wyatt has never felt luckier. She is about to marry her ideal man, Magnus Tavish, but in one afternoon her “happily ever after” begins to fall apart. Not only has she lost her engagement ring in a hotel fire drill but in the panic that follows, her phone is stolen. As she paces shakily around the lobby, she spots an abandoned phone in a trash can. Finders keepers! Now she can leave a number for the hotel to contact her when they find her ring. Perfect!

Well, perfect except that the phone’s owner, businessman Sam Roxton, doesn't agree. He wants his phone back and doesn't appreciate Poppy reading his messages and wading into his personal life.

What ensues is a hilarious and unpredictable turn of events as Poppy and Sam increasingly upend each other’s lives through emails and text messages. As Poppy juggles wedding preparations, mysterious phone calls, and hiding her left hand from Magnus and his parents . . . she soon realizes that she is in for the biggest surprise of her life."

This book is seriously movie material!

I picked this book up from the library  because  its been on my To-Reads lost on goodreads for a while and I wasn't sure if I wanted to buy it. So i decided  to get it from the library,  and I'm very happy that I decided to finally read it. This was my very first Sophie Kinsella  read and it definitely made me extra excited to read more of the books she written.

So to start the only reason that it is a 4.5 and not a full 5 stars is because  the beginning  sections seem to be a tiny bit slow with the relationship, love interest aspect but it was not that bad because  of the situation Poppy was in with her fiancé.

But with that being my only dislike (which isn't  a very big one) I would like to say how much I absolutely adore Poppy! Her character is so friendly, and outgoing and she is such a sweet character to but don't  let the sweetness full you because  that girl has one sassy attitude and sense of humor to which really makes her character shine even more. And her name is so unique it fits her so well!

I loved the story and how you can visibly see the action a character (specifically Poppy) does and how great Sophie Kinsella makes you think about what is going to happen but you don't  have to think to hard because the story flows easily and once secrets are exposed you either crack up laughing til your stomach hurts or you get upset from what you just found out.

Overall this book was so funny, witty, easy, and fast a read. I can't wait to pick up more of Sophie Kinsella books and I recommend everyone get a taste of one of her books too its totally worth it!

Thanks for reading♡
