I LOVE THIS DUO!!! I'M SAD IT'S OVER!

Well to start I will forever recommend The Edge duo to everyone I know or will encounter! Even though there wasn't as much as adventure as the first book, Camryn and Andrew story was still so addicting and captivating. Once again I could not put this book down! I can not believe how many obstacles and struggle these two have been through but they continue to stick together and it's seriously inspiring. I want a love just like Andrew and Camryn. They have such a free spirit and input in life, it really makes the reader think of how people go through life not really LIVING. Everyone in life seem to just get stuck in the habit of waking up,working,eating and sleeping and not fully living a happy life but with Andrew and Camryn they refuse to follow that way of life and they have such a extraordinary way of life and it just makes me so jealous! This book really made me want more in life and made me want to go out on a road trip adventure just like them and find myself.

This duo is so fantastic I will never forget this amazing story. I highly highly highly recommend this duo to EVERYONE! Truly in love with it♡

This book took me on a fun, freeing, romantic adventure that I never wanted to end!

I absolutely LOVE the cover, I think the girl on it is simply goregous and really contrast to Camryn in the story (especially the braid). But from looking at the cover some would assume this story is a paranormal read of some sort, well that's what I thought but I didn't really have any expectations from this book i just knew it's been in my To-Be read pile on Goodreads and I finally got it.

This story really capture Camryn and Andrew character so perfectly and you can tell there love is simply fate. There characters were different in ways were the saying "opposites attracte" played a part in there connection. They met on a bus both heading to separate destination. The story was not Insta-Love, you can obviously tell there was attraction between them but you can see there is something special. I felt so much for Camryn from what she been through and I feel like I can connected to her in so many ways feeling like you don't belong to where you grew with, feeling like you don't want to do the ordinary. Redmerski made these characters come to life, When they speak it was realistic in what anyone would say or do and that is part of what makes this story a diamond in the ruff. Andrew character was completely chivalrous, and swoon worthy. I loved how he told it how it was when it was necessary and I think many women liked that feature in him. Andrew is that macho, alpha man and you can tell but there was parts in the book were he was the most sweetest person in the world that you HAD to wish you had a Andrew of your own in your life.

Not only was it completely romantic and loving it was so funny. I caught myself blushing and smiling and laughing from situation's they were in or the stuff that comes out of Andrew mouth. This book brought so much warmth to my heart I literally hugged it. When I finished this book i cried.... In public.. This book had my emotions at 150% . I was feeling happy, sad, excited. It was the perfectly structured book and I am already recommending this book to everyone I know.

This book takes place in Dublin, Ireland where you follow this women name Cassandra who can tell people future since she was little. She works at a magazine company called Tattle where basically women or men write to her and she gets these "flashes" of there future and she write them back and some of them get publish. In the story she has 3 best friends all single. Marc with a C, Jo, & Charlene and they all know about her amazing psychic abilities. Her friend Charlene get her the opportunity to go on TV to do what she does best. But she gets a flash about the producer of the TV show named Jack and how they are going to be spending there lives together. But when she is around him her psychic abilities don't work. 

This book is a pretty easy,funny read. I did enjoy seeing Cassandra visions and how she really tried to help people that needed it, one particular part when she helps the ghost of a little boy which was a very well written part of the book.Cassandra personality was very funny the things she would think and say would have me laughing out loud. I could relate to her character in different levels, she really was a humble person who just wanted everyone to be happy. I also like in the beginning of each chapter was a tator card with some description of what it means and that really got my interest.

What I felt lacked in this book was romance. I feel that we didn't get enough connection and romance been Cassandra and Jack. It's like she had the flash about him and all of a sudden she likes him but through our the book she barely talks to him or see him until like the last 50 pages of the book. I wish we could of seen more Cassandra and Jack time.

The 3 best friends see very stereotypical such as Marc with a C was a guy gym trainer, and Jo was the tomboy best friend, and Charlene was the rich spoiled friend. And the way they all spoke and acted contrast to those characteristic which didn't really show them as unique characters besides Cassandra. 

I also felt like through out this whole book the attention was mostly on the friend Charlene, seem like every chapter was about her and the focus wasn't really on Cassandra which really got annoying at one point because I wanted to see where Cassandra love life was going not really all of her friends.

This book did have some rough parts but overall it was a quick funny read.

Young Adult Fiction

I got this book because it was being compared to the book by Libba Bray called The Diviners(my favorite book) and I figured I would check it out.  I flew through this book it was fast pace,fun, and entertaining. I did put a lot of expectations into this book but it was super super great like I was expecting.

I felt that the story was good but could of gone into my in-depth. Early on I did predict what would happen and who were the good and who would turn out to be bad. The story did drag on towards the beginning I felt some situations just kept being repeated a little bit and then the twist and climax occur so quickly and you discover what happened who did it and then its pretty much done. The flow and the smoothness of the story could have gone better.

What I enjoyed most was the magic and the powers of Anna. Anna had an exciting lifestyle but you can see how much she seeks normality. What I admired about Anna was how she kept her guard with her life if she wasn't sure she can trust someone and how she would analysis certain people and situations before acting upon them. I felt that she was very clever and talented which made me love and connect with her as a character. I also enjoyed Anna and her mothers story and relationship in a way that they both cared for there show and loved what they do but both had strong personalities off stage and seem to be very independent thinkers. I also liked how the magician Houdini is a little bit involved in the story even though I'm still not completely sure if he is the father of Anna.

The love triangle wasn't that rough to get through because of the prediction I made of what would happen at the end. I did enjoy Cole as a character and as Anna love interests but I feel that Teri Brown could of gone more in depth to Cole character because we mostly got facts about him and his past a little bit but I still feel that emotional connect towards the reader and Cole's character was missing. 

Even though this book did not live up to my highest expectations I still very much enjoyed it, and the magic world it presented. I will hopefully pick up the sequel Born of Deception to see what other conflicts Anna will have to face.

(SPOILERS AHEAD)

After completely devouring the first two books I knew once I get this last precious book I wouldn't want to let it go. So let me just say the brilliant Patrick Ness has created a master piece and I bow down to him because I loved this book and the series this review will never do it justice.

So the usual the story picks up EXCATLY where it left off in The Ask and The Answer book two in the Chaos Walking trilogy which is always pleasant for the reader so it was easy for me to dive right into the war and action.

Mayor Prentiss & Mistress Coyle

In this last book you really get to see President(Mayor) Prentiss character in difference ways. YES! he is evil and will always be evil to us readers without a doubt but at one point of the book you can really see a side of the Mayor that makes you question "can things really change for them?" such as how he shows so much compassion and love for Todd and how badly he wants him as a son and him by his side. Even though you always have that gut feeling that the Mayor is up to something, certain times I'd caught myself wanting to see that change in him.

When I think of Mayor Prentiss I think of Mistress Coyle and how they are oddly alike. In this book its shows how they were both after power and fame and winning over the people in New Prentisstown that there own personal goals were causing people to die. For me I disliked Mistress Coyle more than the Mayor because all she wanted was to destroy the Mayor and be the hero that stops the war and saves the town. She was never thinking logically and It frustrated me. At least with the Mayor he had a planned and tried not to kill everyone in the process even if he wanted the same glory and success as Mistress Coyle. I feel that they were so much alike that they just needed to date each other to have some type of love in there life honestly hahaha. I loved the moments when they would go back and forth arguing and bickering they sounded like a married couple. Even in the end when peace was about to finally happen Mistress Coyle killed herself you can tell how selfish she was because if she did not have the power then nobody can, putting her own people life in danger. The same goes with the Mayor he was so close to peace and a New World for all the people in the town and the new people arriving, he got so strung up on power and with Todd that he feels he has to destroy them all because he can't control them, because he can't get what he wants.

The Return(1017)

I found that putting in the Spackle view in the book was very interesting, at first I wasn't ok with it because their language is so different and it took a few tries to get the hang of who they are referring to and how they are describing a certain situation but I got the hang of it once it started connecting. I did not feel any sympathy for 1017 Im not sure why, maybe it was because he was so fixated on killing, and fighting that he wouldn't take in consideration that Todd and everyone else wanted peace and the war to end. And at the end!!!!! 1017 shooting Todd I nearly threw my book across the room! I wish there was a fourth book because Im interested in how 1017 becomes a better leader in being the new Sky. The Spackle point of view was very great to see even though it got some getting use to, I see how both sides wanted the same things in the time of need.

Viola & Todd

 They seem to be separated a good majority of the book which was good because you got to see and experience the hilltop situations and the towns situation. What bothered me a little bit was how depended Viola and Todd were of each other, I understand they are in love and they want to be together and make sure they are both safe but I feel like Viola would be so depend on Todd to save the world that she doesn't want to take any responsibility or make any decision during the fights and that bothered me just a little bit. But they seem to need each other for strength and hope which I liked because it showed that you can't fight a battle on your own it takes groups of people who have the right intentions.

In my opinion Viola didn't really seem to grow as much as Todd did in this story, she didn't want to take charge in some ways she just seem to be there for Todd support. I did like how Viola seen past Mayor Prentiss ways, she knew something was off and I applaud her for that.

Todd seem to grow a lot from the first book to the third and you can really tell from the way he speaks, the compassion and forgiveness he shows, and how every move he makes he puts others safety over his. I love Todd character with a passion, he is a real fighter. Todd did get "off his game" while he was with the Mayor but I still feel like he grew because he got to see the bigger picture of what men and women are capable of doing in order to destroy others, "War make monsters on men" as he would say and he was very right. Todd had every possibility to get lost in the war,to kill, to revenge but he always had his mind set on peace. And I think it was possible to do that with the help of Viola because he wanted a safe place for her which makes my tummy do all kinds of butterflies. 

At the end when Todd is shot and you hear and feel the emotion of Ben and feel and hear the emotion of Viola it feels like too much to handle and its making me want to cry just thinking of it. They came from such a long journey and they became leaders and created peace and you feel this proudness for them for defeating battle after battle.

Having Todd be in that coma type sleep at the end you know he is going to survive it's just the question of how will the New World be once Viola and Todd come back to the town?.... 

We will never know! *sobs*

Overall, AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING book! Even though I most desperately want more of this world. It ended well enough for me to have my own imagination to what's to happen to New Prentisstown and the Spackle.

I hope you all enjoyed the book as much as me. Now I am to be left alone cleaning the wounds this book gave me.

WHERE DO I START?! How can a human being create such a perfect sequel?!

Just like The Knife of Never Letting Go, The Ask and The Answer absolutely lived up to the hype. Just when I thought things couldn't get better, it went beyond my expectations.

Nonstop action and adventure I loved it!

What I loved:

Right away what I loved was that in the beginning it starts off right where we left off, it didn't go on to much about what happened in the first book and give information from what we already know. It continues the journey right where we left off.

I loved how fantastic the character development is. You can see how much Todd grows and is learning from his mistakes and even though I don't necessary agree with anything Todd does I still love him as a character and how you can really see the difference in him from when he "wasn't" a man, to now in New Prentisstown, someone who can potentially be a leader, but we will see how that goes later.

What I also loved was how Ness got both Viola and Todd point of view, how they are both in the same terrible town but how they are experiences totally different adventures in their own way, and how they are dealing with different struggles and lost in their own way but they always seem to have each other in mind always keep their connection intake whether they are together hurt and wounded or separated for months and months you can see that their love for one another is growing a developing into something powerful and gives me a feeling its going to really change the story in the next book.

One last thing i wanted to mentioned that I loved was how the characters in the first book;such as, Davy Prentiss, Mayor Prentiss, Ivan, Wilf etc. are all back into the mix of the story and you can also see Ness develop their characters in some way. When things get rough and war is upon them you can see what their true forms are.

I won't spoil much but one specific person I have to shine the light on is Davy Prentiss (the mayor son) Ness really did some great work with Davy and I'm sure without a doubt everyone who read this one had mixed feeling for Davy but really ended up understanding and felt for him and possible cried, I know I did!

I want to also shine light on the new characters that appeared in the story, they really had my emotions at 200% These new characters (Mistress Coyle, Lee,Corinne) and others really had very different personalities and really help the story have some depth into what this war and what that society is heading towards, showed how caring,brave,cruel,and wise people can be.

What I liked least:

I don't have much of what I disliked this book is a 5 stars with out a doubt but what I liked least is how Patrick Ness keeps living the books in cliff hangers!!!!! How can someone do that to a reader?! haha but yeah I finish the book in class and I was stuck with so many emotions and questions and I didn't have the next book to fulfill these emotions! 

On a serious note though I still dislike the choices Todd makes, and I assume thats just my opinion and me being judgmental but perhaps everything will makes sense once I read Monsters of Men. 

Overall, this book really blowed my mind, I love the development, the new characters, the old characters, the emotion, the action. I recommend this so highly that I want to be buried with this book hahaha jk but this book really deserves all the praise its receiving.

Have to end with the most important line I received from this book:

"You are the decisions you make"

Let me first say this book took my emotions on a roller coaster of a journey. Todd lives in a world were his thoughts can always be heard and he can hear others "Noise" as well from men in the town. Now i wont give any spoilers but there is never any silence in his world beside this one mystery in the forest and in Todd world all the women are dead.

What attracted me to this stories was how curious I was to see how there is constant Noise and thoughts and how you can't shut it off and it was cool to see how Patrick Ness wrote that into the book by doing different fonts and style to different Men's Noise as Todd listens to them. There's one point in the book where there is so many Noise all around Todd and the pages become messes of writing and fonts for about 5 pages and it really makes the writing come to life and creates such emotion and feeling to each Noise.

Without a doubt this book is very emotional,  it makes you question human beings and how can some be so cruel and why some do what they do? How others can grow and learn, makes you think what you value and what others value. This book constantly made me think what would I do? Would I have done the same or gone with something else? I didn't agree to some choices Todd did which got me becoming upset but then I think there is a reason, a valid reason why he has to do the things he does. 

What I enjoyed from this book was that there was non stop action, there was constantly something happening and made you think..Is it ever gunna get better? haha but then it does gets better, then you get your hopes up and something drastically happens again and it was non stop cycle for me. 

This book definitely finished with a BIG cliff hanger and made me feeling uneasy. It was the type of book I wanted to throw at the wall after I finished. It made me want to find Patrick Ness and ask him WHY DO YOU HAVE TO TORTURE ME LIKE THIS?! Haha

But overall this book kept me hooked since page one I couldn't get enough and with that cliff hanger it made me itching to get the sequel.

It's a Must Read!!!

Fiction 

The circus arrives without warning but only appears at night. It's called Le Cirque Des Reves and behind the scenes is a fierce competition that nobody seems to really understand. Celia Bowen and Marco are trained from there instructor but only one can be left standing at the end. Celia and Marco end up in love causing problems and danger throughout the circus and the competition. Who will survive?

This book really took me on a journey and It really haunted and enchanted me.

I gave this book 4.5 instead of 5 for some personal reason but I'll go into what I liked most from this novel. 

I really enjoyed how the story developed in showing Celia And Marco life from being trained young to being in the circus. It really gave me feedback and reason to why they do certain things in the future because I understand there past.I enjoyed how every person that's involved in the circus is some form or way involved in the competition, which created great twist and plot in the story.I loved the description of the scenery and setting that made the circus feel magical and entertaining, it made me want to jump into the story. The magic and illusions were truly breathtaking. 

On the other hand, what I may have disliked about the story was how they spoke and I understand it was late in the 18th century but I suppose since I'm not use to the language it took me some time to understand what the person was saying and what the person was describing or doing. But it wasn't a big burden on my shoulder because going through a couple chapters I eventually got use to the language and I became comfortable with it. Another issue was throughout each chapter there were a different character and different setting,  it would switch back and forth between the numerous characters that were in the story and I understand why Erin M. would do that because all the characters are connected in some way but it did give me trouble trying to stay focus and make sure I know who is the person talking and where they are and what day it was.

Overall I did enjoy the story I couldn't put it down towards the end it really had me sucked in like no other book. I recommend to new adult and adults because the language is a little different to caught onto and the story line will be easier to understand if you are a little older. But I  highly recommend this wonderful book!

Wow Wow Wow! 

Seriously Kim Karr just comes out with surprise after surprise. Once again I could not put this book down. Not only do I fall over n over again for Dahlia and River relationship but I love  how everyone in this story connects in some sort of way in every conflict that occurs in this amazing story. I laughed, I got mad, I cried,  I was feeled with happiness and love. This story really was great. I gave it 4/4.5 stars because i felt like even though there was surprises and shock, i felt through out the story Dahlia and River were just arguing about who can trust who and something was always in the way. But other than that the book didn't let me down and dare I say this sequel beats Connected on another level. Loved it!

In Mended (book 3 of the Connected series) the story shows us the life of Xander Wilde and Ivy Taylor. The love story with a past. Mended made me adore this series so much more!

These characters and this world is so captivating I never wanted it to stop. Other characters from the previous books are present and involved in the story as well and you get a peek at how the other characters are doing to. Kim Karr blends the life's of each character so well and you get to see the connection each character have with one another. Not only is the romance addictive as always but the drama and the tragedies are even more addictive. What I like most was that Kim Karr didn't put as much sex scene in this book and spot lighted the big plot and picture of Xander and Ivy life,past and present. This story really did show the value of family and love.Mended ripped my heart in so many pieces and I feel that it is the most powerful and most emotional book of the series so far. Not only were there so many twist and turns that got me completely off guard, but it definitely made me want to be apart of that world because the love and support the characters have are something everyone wants in life. A complete 5 stars for Mended and I can't wait to get the next book!

Nobody in my family is really a avid reader but I know in Grammer school I loved reading Captain Underpants and Junie B. Jones. Then in 7th grade I read Twilight and I kept reading and then my love for reading grew throughout high school.

It depends on how quickly I become attached to the book. I do prefer to read one book at a time so my mind stays in that one world, but if the book isn't really getting my attention I'll set it down for a little bit and read something else.

I do love a good chick-lit, but I am trying to expand on that. I will try to give all genres a chance, but I tend to choose romance/ contemporary.

I am not a huge fan of horror, historical fiction and science fiction but I do want to give more books in those genre a try.

I have many books that I consider favorites. But I would have to say my favorite authors that make my favorite books. I’d probably say Libba Bray books, and Jill Shalvis books are the books I'll pick up without blinking.

My thought isnt a very popular one but Eleanor and Park by Rainbow Rowell. It wasn’t terrible – it’s just not my cup of tea.

I bought my last book on Amazon, which were Born of Illusion by Teri Brown, Mended by Kim Karr, and The Giver by Lois Lowry.

I prefer buying books, usually because I like to re-read books and keep them in my collection. But libraries have so many amazing non popular books that are just as amazing as the best seller books in stores.

What are the disadvantages of being a book lover?

For some odd reason when you read one book you buy 6 more books and your To-Be Read pile Continues to grow bigger and sometimes it's overwhelming and your money starts flying out the window as soon as your love for books takes over but with that reading can never be a disadvantage.  Reading helps you feel welcomed, helps expand your creativity and always fun and exciting thing to do.

20 year old Clementine Avery is a college student with a new best seller that she written herself. She goregous and well sorta bitchy. She has a no dating rule until she mets Gavin Murphy the hot RA. Besides all the romance and relationship Clementine is dealing with her stuck up parents, a asshole ex boyfriend who broke her heart, a 2nd novel to go with her 1st book and a stalking professor who has dangerous written across his forehead. I did not have any opinions or judgement when I started this book and I choosed it because I related to Clementine in certain situations. I seriously loved everything about this story! I loved how it is based around Clementine and Gavin relationship but how everyone around them is involoved in some way or another, loved how Lex Martin puts Clementines character as someone qho has to deal with more then "boy problems" she has real issues to push through and I loved how that makes the story so relatable. This is the type of book that makes you depressed that there isn't enough men out there like Mr. Gavin! 

Overall im a very happy I read this book it was just what I needed at the time.
