Goodreads summary:

"When literature student Anastasia Steele goes to interview young entrepreneur Christian Grey, she encounters a man who is beautiful, brilliant, and intimidating. The unworldly, innocent Ana is startled to realize she wants this man and, despite his enigmatic reserve, finds she is desperate to get close to him. Unable to resist Ana’s quiet beauty, wit, and independent spirit, Grey admits he wants her, too—but on his own terms.

Shocked yet thrilled by Grey’s singular erotic tastes, Ana hesitates. For all the trappings of success—his multinational businesses, his vast wealth, his loving family—Grey is a man tormented by demons and consumed by the need to control. When the couple embarks on a daring, passionately physical affair, Ana discovers Christian Grey’s secrets and explores her own dark desires."

Adult Romance/Erotica

I am very surprised  by this book! There is so much negative and positive conversation around this book that I wanted to form my own opinion  on it, and I really liked it!

This story as humor, romance, drama, and most importantly SEXY TIME  (aka sex). I can see where most people find this book enjoyable and how others find it off putting. This story is not ALL about the sex, there is a story and drama that balances the story so don't outcast this book without giving it a try.

Negatives:

There are some things that made me uncomfortable while reading which was mostly the whole BDSM lifestyle. It is probably the main reason most readers did not enjoy the story because  Christian Grey comes across very demanding, bossy, maybe a little abusive because  he lives that BDSM lifestyle. For me personally  I tried putting myself in Ana shoes and I don't  think I could personally deal with the rules  and restrictions. And because  it is so abnormal  lifestyle the relationship  becomes a bit uncomfortable to myself  and I'm sure uncomfortable  to other readers. Also another small problem I had was with Ana, I find at some moments she was TO innocent, I felt that her character needed to open up a little more.

Positive:

I personally put aside some of the BDSM lifestyle and tried  to be ok with the situation  they're  relationship was in, and when I did that I can see where Ana is coming from.  Mr. Grey shouldn't  be labeled as a horrible guy because  when you read he is not forcing Ana to do any sexual activities that she doesn't  want to do and he explains to her that she should talk to him and tell him what she is comfortable  with and uncomfortable  with and Mr.Grey follows the rules and is still 100% respectable to Ana. I loved Ana and Christian relationship, you can tell he loves her and likewise with Ana. There are so many romantic moments that had me laughing and blushing and cheering on there relationship. I can see how many people love Christian and how us as readers try to give him a chance to see the other side of him as Ana tries to do.

Overall, this story was good I enjoyed it all the way through.  This book has other negatives and positive, but for me the positives shined a little bit more than the negative. I really recommend  others to read 50 shades and create your own opinion. And if you did read it go and watch the movie on Valentines  Day and we can all see Christian  Grey on the big screen!

Thank you for reading♡
